Campus SiteNow users, editors, owners and operators: 

Meta recently notified us that they plan to restrict the ability for SiteNow users to embed Facebook and Instagram posts on their websites unless we make changes to our privacy page by May 16, 2023.  If their requested changes are not made by this date, existing Facebook and Instagram post embeds on SiteNow websites may no longer render and editors may be unable to embed new posts on their websites. 

If you currently embed Facebook or Instagram posts on your SiteNow website: We recommend you make contingency plans to remove these post embeds in the event that Meta shuts this service off on or after May 16, 2023. 

In the meantime, we are requesting an extension from Meta while we work with the Information Security and Policy Office to evaluate this request and, if warranted, adapt our privacy page appropriately.
